What is Arcade1Up?
Arcade1Up is a popular brand of digital entertainment products similar to what one finds in a traditional gaming arcade. Things like large, arcade style gaming cabinets and digital pinball machines make up the bulk of their catalog, though they also offer small, countertop versions of several of their top games along with a variety of matching stools that go with their larger machines. Full-sized Arcade1Up gaming cabinets typically feature optional risers for users to boost the cabinet to a comfortable height for adults if they wish. The machines plug into a standard wall outlet and can be placed anywhere in your home that you wish. They also typically feature multiple games per machine, so your gaming experience is sure to remain fresh and fun for many years to come.
Features and plus points
Arcade1Up gaming products have a number of key features and plus points. In addition to the optional riser that’s provided with the full-sized gaming cabinets, they also come with cool features like light-up marquees, digital scoreboards, cool custom artwork that matches the included games, and some models even come with their own special stool that also features matching artwork. In cases where a stool is not included with the cabinet itself, you can usually buy the matching stool separately. And for those that don’t have room in their home for a full-sized gaming machine, smaller, countertop models are also available.
Popular Arcade1Up offerings
Arcade1Up specializes in classic video game titles such as Pac-Man, NBA JAM, and Street Fighter II, though they also have newer games like The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Rebels digital pinball. In fact, most full-sized Arcade1Up machines have a variety of different games built in. You’ll find as many as 10 different pinball games in both their Marvel and Star Wars digital pinball machines, and many of their traditional upright video gaming cabinets also feature 4 or more games. For instance, the NBA JAM cabinet has 4 different versions of 90s NBA JAM games, and the full-sized Pac-Man cabinet offers 7 different Pac-Man games with a retro gaming feel.
Easy to build, fun to play!
Full-sized Arcade1Up gaming machines and cabinets must be assembled by the user. However, the build experience is fairly straightforward and doesn’t take long to complete. An excellent instruction booklet walks users step-by-step through the process so that the machine is up and running in a matter of minutes. Most people will probably be playing and enjoying their cabinet within 1 hour. Everything you need for assembly—short of a Philips head screwdriver, is included in the box, and pieces include pressed-wood panels, electronic components like screens and speakers, and screws, dowels, and brackets to hold it all together. Though some effort is required, assembling an Arcade1Up machine is not an intimidating process, and virtually anyone can do it.
