The S-DB8V-TRK can handle up to 600 watts RMS power, so its two S-W8D2 8″ subs will have plenty of punch. For robust performance, the subs use Alpine’s Kevlar-reinforced pulp cone and rubber High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround. The selection of an amplifier is made easy by the enclosure’s wiring for a 2-ohm load. The side-firing ports of the enclosure load the interior of the cabin to augment the lows, resulting in deeper bass at higher volume levels.

A Versatile Enclosure

With a central metal Pro-Link bracket, the sturdy 5/8″ MDF enclosure’s robust and stylish black carpet covering can be adjusted from 40 to 51 inches in width to accommodate the majority of full-sized trucks as well as Jeep Gladiators and 4-door Wranglers. The Alpine EZ Change twist-lock grille system offers speaker protection choices that blend in with the interior of your vehicle, and it has an integrated amplifier mounting tray that is suited for Alpine’s mono sub amps.
