Service Features:
  • Install up to 2 wireless speakers/adapters in up to 2 rooms
  • Or, in place of 2 speakers/adapters, install a sound bar and subwoofer in 1 room
  • Configure up to 2 zones of audio
  • Configure 1 smart device with media streaming app
  • Enable media streaming functionality on 1 computer with app installation
  • Install either 1 WiFi repeater (sold separately) or 1 boost/bridge (sold separately)
  • Help with shelf or table placement of speakers for optimal sound distribution
  • Test all functions to ensure full function and ease of use
  • Provide a quick tutorial on how to use streaming app(s) and access media streaming services

Please note: Hardware and parts are not included unless specifically mentioned above.

How to Prepare for Your On-site Service:

  • Please ensure a person at least 18 years of age is present during the entire time the service is provided
  • Please ensure any required accessories like cables and connectors are available
  • The Geek Squad Agent will require full access to the devices to be serviced, access to the residence, the owner’s consent, cooperation to enter the residence or business, a safe working environment, working space, and electrical power
  • The Geek Squad Agent will show you proper identification upon arrival

Not included with this service: amplifier installation, wire concealment, display setup, speaker mounting, advanced/harmony remote programming

For Geek Squad in-home services, there’s no charge if your location is within 30 minutes of the nearest Best Buy store. There is a $50 charge for locations 30-60 minutes from the nearest Best Buy store. Areas beyond 60 minutes from the nearest Best Buy store are not available for service. Travel times are based on posted speed limits. Any charges must be paid in-store.

If you find a lower price with another retailer before you buy (or within 30 days of purchase), we’ll gladly match that price. If our own price is reduced within 30 days of purchase, we’ll match it and refund you the difference. Conditions and exclusions apply.
