8K30 360° Video
The X4 provides ultra-high-definition 8K resolution, offering 78% more pixels than 5.7K for enhanced detail and clarity. This makes reframed videos comparable to standard camera footage, simplifying the editing process. Footage is captured in high-quality H.265 compression, keeping 8K files manageable for editing with the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio.
Note: Shooting in 8K uses more power than lower resolutions. It's recommended to use 8K only in bright daylight and lower the resolution in low-light conditions.
60 fps Capture and Slow Motion in Me Mode
The X4 supports up to 5.7K60 video for smooth, high-resolution shots and up to 4K100 for super slow-motion footage. Me Mode records 170° field-of-view flat video, ideal for POV videos with an invisible selfie stick. It supports up to 4K30 and 2.7K120 slow-motion modes with external stitching. In 2.7K30 mode, the X4 enables in-camera stitching for ready-to-share MP4 files.
72MP PureShot Photos
Utilizing AI PureShot, the X4 processes 72MP photos in-camera, delivering high-quality images with low noise and vibrant colors, ready to share.
MegaView FOV
MegaView is a new field-of-view option in the app/Studio software, processing 360° video with minimal edge distortion for overall higher image quality. MegaView supports various aspect ratios, including 1:1, 9:16, 16:9, 4:3, 3:4, and 2.35:1.
Dual Camera Functionality with 4K60 Single-Lens Mode
