Kingston IronKeyT Vault Privacy 50 series are premium USB Type-A drives that provide enterprise-grade security with FIPS 197-certified AES 256-bit hardware encryption in XTS mode, including protections against BadUSB with digitally signed firmware and against Brute Force password attacks. Because it is encrypted storage under the physical control of the user, the VP50 series is superior to using the Internet and cloud services to protect data.

Vault Privacy 50 supports multi-password option (Admin, User and One-Time Recovery) with Complex or Passphrase modes. This improves the possibility of recovering access to data if one of the passwords is forgotten. Traditional complex mode allows a 6 to 16 character password using 3 out of 4 character sets. 64 characters. The administrator can enable a one-time user password and recovery password, or reset the user password to restore access to data.
