It is designed to withstand the heat, having a cast-aluminum basket that is ventilated to keep the 3.5″ triple voice coil of aluminium cool. The polypropylene cone continues to pump out bass thanks to a double-stitched folded rubber ring that extends the sub’s excursion without sacrificing cone area and a reinforced spider.
