Lean and mean vacuum machine. Powerful. And easy to maneuver. Relatively cheap for a Miele, Doesn't have the large array of functions that the more expensive versions have, but frankly we never would have used them. Our cleaning lady agrees. What it does have is the stuff you WILL use. If your house is wall to wall carpet then get the version of it with the large dedicated attachment. If you're only doing a few throw rugs, don't bother. PLUS on this model Miele DOES include a smaller 'rug beater' attachment which will be more than adequate for most rug uses.

The vacuum cleaner is near perfect - I live in a small house and the vacuum is small. I try to keep the house quiet and the vacuum cleaner runs quietly. The cord rolls right into the machine - I am disabled and a fall can be a disaster for me. Not much heat is generated by the Miele and in the heat wave with no air conditioning, this is a real plus. The attachments make vacuuming carpet possible and simple. no complaints at all. ml

Bought this vacuum cleaner recently, and it is amazing. Very easy to assemble and use, good suction power, high quality build, light weight, compact, decent noise level/ pretty silent. Love the red colour, looks and feels sturdy and fancy, In our apartment we have only 20% of carpet and rest is hardwood floor and this vacuum cleaner performance is exceptional with all kind of regular dirt and small particles. Universal brush is more than enough for regular cleaning. I totally recommend it.

The vacuum is ok on hard floor however the universal head is not at all suitable for carpets (I have very low pile carpets) and even on very low power setting it just sticks to the carpet and requires great effort to move around which strained my neck and back. The head accessories are made of poor plastic and absorb all dust and debris from the floor from electrostatic. I do not recommend this vacuum at all considering the price point and even on sale.

I am in love! This is a little beast that makes housework so much easier. It maneuvers up the stairs easily, tackles area rugs, carpet and hardwood way better than my old dyson did. The fact that is has a cord means I can clean my entire house without having to recharge. Best purchase and even better value because I got it on sale. Love this little beast.

This is a true beast: extremely powerful, but still gentle and surprisingly quiet. You get what you pay for, I guess...

Design, quality and power are good but it is not good for low or medium pile of rug/carpet because there is no wheel under the tools so it is not easy to run the handle on the rug/carpet.

This is a very quiet and light vacuum with excellent suction. It works well for small carpeted areas as well as floors. The full range of floor and carpet tools including a small power brush is another great feature.

I have owned other quality vacuum cleaners but never one as lightweight and versatile as this one. Am super happy with this purchase. Decided to write a review when a few moments ago, while cleaning a workspace, my husband commented on how impressed he is with this vacuum
