[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these because of the low price and the generally-positive reviews on line. They fit nicely in the ear. The sound quality range is more limited than the buds from Apple you get with their phone, but the basses are actually deeper. The cable looks and feels very standard-issue which means I'm completely sure it will wear out, or its connections to the jack or phones will wear out, much earlier than the Apple buds' cord does. Cable is actually 6-12 inches too long, for my taste. Microphone works fine as does its on/off switch, but volume control is not possible on an iPhone, only on Android devices (by downloading an app! Not exactly what I was led to believe).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] High quality sound and lightweight, these Sony earbuds with mic are a great deal for the price. there is an inline pause/resume button for listening to music. I assume it also functions as an answer/hangup button for calls but I have not tried that yet. I have used the earbuds both for music and calls and the audio quality is outstanding. While I like that they are lightweight, they are probably on the less durable side because they are so thin. They have held up so far but I anticipate that if they get snagged on something once, they will get damaged. They are Sony so I would expect them to last forever if they don't get caught on anything.

I purchased these headphone in October of 2017 and by April of 2018 the left earbud had stopped working. I am not the type to write negative reviews so I would like to mention that they worked well and were quite comfortable for the short time that they did fully work. I have talked to friends about these headphones as well as other Sony products and found that they were experiencing similar issues. Luckily (at least I thought) I had purchased a warranty but the process for replacement is extremely tedious and frustrating. For the price I am disappointed and would rather splurge for better quality and a more manageable warranty procedure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hands-free (ear buds plus a microphone) has been working well for me. I have to be a little careful because the wires are so thin (that's the way they all are made, not a unique criticism of this unit) but so far so good. Sound quality is fine. I'm on the phone a lot while driving so this is a lifesaver. I drive an older pickup and there is some background noise but everyone says they hear me just fine (as long a s I speak up). Since they were only $20 or so I added the 2-year protection plan for $5 (usually I never buy those warranties but I figure these earbuds are fragile enough I may be using the warranty before 2 years are up).

I got these a while back and the sound quality has been great but the thing is falling apart. The wire from the L shape piece is starting to come out and I'm having to keep it taped. It left the wires exposed through the anti-split thing. The part covering the connector fits pretty much any phone even with a case that limits headphone jack size, which is a huge plus because I've had trouble with other brands. Tangling isn't the biggest issue but it can still occurre. Overall these are as good as in-ear headphones will probably get for a while.

I bought a pair at the airport. At first the left side went very quiet, I had to adjust sound levels on the computer to 75/25 left/right for it to sound right. Then the right side went lower then the left, and the only way to hear anything was to crank the volume up on every device to the max level. I've stopped using these, 1 month after the purchase, because all the treble is gone and the bass is so overpowering it gives me a headache. The left side is now completely silent. Please give me a refund or replacement Sony. Thanks. Jason

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you pick up these headphones, more than likely you are doing so for fashion reasons over function. That said, these are solid headphones with the usual Sony-emphasis on bass. Connections are tight, and plug doesn't feel flimsy at all. Keep in mind the inline mic and remote is very basic, and does not control volume or track select for whichever device it is plugged into. The best you're going to get is play/stop, answer/hangup call depending on what you're doing with your device. Mic fidelity is average but acceptable for this price range, about what you would expect. For a cheap pair of workout gear, or something for young children, these will work just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these before going to the gym, primarily for the play/pause control button (and the color) I open them up, put them in, try to pause & nothing happens. Button doesn't work. So we exchanged them for a fresh pair, thinking that pair was just a dud. However when I set these up, this button also didn't work. After accepting my fate of a broken button, I used them once with no problem, but after that it would randomly stop the music, skip out & be fuzzy, or open Siri randomly, today, when I needed them the most, at work this happened about every 10 seconds. I was about to pull my hair out. So not worth 20 bucks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked at several different types of ear buds and since i use them to fall asleep listening to the radio I needed something that did not tangle up. After a few weeks now of using I can honestly say these are the most comfortable and do not tangle pair I have purchased. The awesome color purple is a bonus since its my favorite color. They are not noise cancelling which means I can still hear if something is going on in the next room but faintly and have to take them out to listen better. Which is what I prefer to use while falling asleep. The sound is clear and overall you cant get a better pair for the price. I have tried and have several that I have since tossed.
