Mac Studio is an entirely new Mac desktop that packs incredible power in a compact form.
What is the Mac Studio?
Despite an ultra-compact form factor, Mac Studio packs the incredible power of the Apple M2 Max or M2 Ultra inside. The result is a desktop Mac that can drive up to six ProRes displays simultaneously. Thanks to the M2-series’ power efficiency, the newest Mac Studio uses less power per year than competing high-end PCs. It’s also faster and more powerful than the previous generation Intel-based iMac, and even the M1 Ultra Mac Studio.
Mac Studio is beautifully designed with an enclosure made from a single aluminum extrusion. It features all the ports a professional user might want, including four Thunderbolt 4 ports, high-bandwidth HDMI, 10 gbps Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, and an SD card slot.
At just 9.5 cm high, Mac Studio can comfortably fit beneath most computer monitors. For the ultimate experience, you can pair it with a matching Apple Mac Studio Display (sold separately).

All connectivity needs are covered (both wired and wireless) with four USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) ports, two USB Type A ports, high bandwidth HDMI, 10 gbps Ethernet, an SDXC card slot, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6E. Who would use the Mac Studio?
Mac Studio M2 is an all-new Mac desktop and it’s aimed at those with heavy, intense needs, like content creators, coders/programmers, and engineers.
With a choice between the powerful M2 Max or M2 Ultra processors, Mac Studio delivers far more performance than Mac mini or iMac Pro in a package with an extremely small footprint. It also offers a far wider range of connectivity options. At the same time, it is more affordable than Mac Pro.
With its extreme performance and connectivity, Mac Studio is ideal for prosumers and professional users. It has everything needed to chew through even the most demanding creative, business, and science applications. Mac Studio is the perfect choice for those who need the power to render 4K or 8K video, run complex particle simulations, mix music, design complex 3D environments, edit high resolution photos, or compile large codebases.
