Putting it all together with the Galaxy S23 Ultra

An open canvas for the S Pen

Samsung returns with its latest premium flagship phone in the Galaxy S23 Ultra, a continuation of the legacy of the Note series with the versatility of the S series. The vibrant 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display now features a new curvature to make it a little flatter this time around. The screen stays true to Samsung’s vivid display technology, including an Adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support.

It's also the first smartphone to have Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, which is also made with 22% pre-consumer recycled material—heralding a new era in sustainability for Samsung’s mobile devices. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is also among the first phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, a powerful chipset that helps drive the amazing features available on the device.

The S Pen is a key feature of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, with a holster to keep it close when you need it. The Ultra remains the only model in the Galaxy 23 lineup supporting the S Pen. It maintains the low latency that makes notetaking and drawing feel so smooth onscreen.

It doesn’t end there, thanks to smarter features now included in the phone. They include Bixby Text Call, where it’s possible to respond to incoming calls by sending a text by voice. Samsung also collaborated with Google to enable user collaboration during video calls. The S23 Ultra leverages the power of Google Meet paired with Samsung Notes and the S Pen to let users co-edit documents in Samsung Notes.

A camera for all situations

The Galaxy S23 Ultra has the largest image sensor of any Samsung phone to date, capable of shooting at 200-megapixels at full resolution. New features take nightography to another level with this phone, like Adaptive Pixel Sensor, which combines 16 pixels into one larger pixel to capture more light.

Night portraits also take a step forward with better bokeh effects using AI to separate hair, eyes and skin for more true-to-life images. A new Astro Photo mode lets you capture the galaxy with your Galaxy, taking multiple exposures and merging the frames together into one dynamic picture.

For those who want to take matters into their own hands, they can now download the Expert RAW app from the Galaxy Store and shoot photos at 50-megapixels. That’s a big increase over the 12-megapixels possible in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, giving photo editors even more pixels to work with when processing images in programs like Adobe Lightroom.

Not only can you record in 8K at 30fps for the first time on a Samsung device, video footage also gets a few upgrades. Better stabilization, plus multiframe processing help reduce noise and increase sharpness in low-light and night settings. Astro Hyperlapse could record the stars without any special equipment. Pair the Galaxy S23 Ultra with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro to record 360-degree audio for truly immersive video, no matter what you’re shooting.

Game on

Samsung built the Galaxy S23 Ultra to play the latest games. Whether it’s touch-based games from the Google Play Store or console-level titles from streaming services like Xbox Game Pass and Nvidia GeForce Now, this phone has the computing and graphics power to handle them.

An all-new Advanced Vision Booster adjusts colour tone and contrast at three different ambient lighting conditions throughout the day to make it easier on the eyes to see the screen at all times. The 120Hz refresh rate ensures the screen is fast enough for smooth gaming sessions, even when playing against others online.

S23 Ultra Accessories

To maximize the protection and maintain the aesthetic appeal of your Galaxy S23 Ultra, especially with its new flatter screen and sustainability features, a case designed for its specific dimensions can be invaluable. Not only will it shield the device from everyday wear and tear, but it also allows for customization to reflect your personal taste.
