Unlocked OnePlus 12
A flagship phone that gives you everything for less
Balancing design and functionality for real convenience
The OnePlus 12 is a flagship smartphone offering great value without compromising on the features that count. Coming in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black, the phone has a 6.8-inch ProXDR display with 2K resolution (3168 x 1440) and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, the phone is a bright and vibrant canvas courtesy of 4,500 nits peak brightness and special features to maintain vivid colour throughout.
Underneath, it has a strong mix of hardware components to drive the competitive performance you can expect on a daily basis. Running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the fast CPU is joined by OnePlus’ own Trinity Engine, a unique architecture inside that finds effective ways to maximize performance on an app-to-app basis without negatively affecting battery life. This extends to how the OnePlus 12 manages the onboard memory and storage as well.
The OnePlus 12 starts with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage, though there are options for 16GB and 512GB, respectively. RAM-Vitalization is a proprietary multitasking tool within the phone that can keep an app active in the background for up to 72 hours, letting you focus on another app at the same time.
These and other heavy processes get a boost from its Dual Cryo-velocity cooling system, a unique design that not only dissipates heat more efficiently through stacked vapour chambers, but also keeps the device from overheating during intense action onscreen. For gamers, this is big for maintaining gameplay without dropping frame rates, though it can prove just as useful when watching or editing video content.
A loaded camera with a variety of options to capture your experiences
The OnePlus 12 offers a varied and versatile camera array capable of producing memorable photos and video. The rear camera is led by the 50-megapixel wide lens built to be among the best in the industry. It is complemented by a new 64-megapixel telephoto periscope lens with 3x optical zoom, optical image stabilization and the ability to zoom in as far as 120x. A 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera offers a broad 114-degree field of view to make it much easier to squeeze more into each frame. The 32-megapixel front camera offers a number of special features for creative selfies.
The camera system is buoyed by OnePlus’ collaboration with Hasselblad, the storied photography brand renowned for its cameras and imaging products. You can use Hasselblad Master filters in various modes within the Camera app, including special bokeh effects in Portrait mode inspired by the Swedish brand’s history of cameras, much like the XPan mode for retro-style film emulation.
The tools available equip any mobile photographer for virtually any situation. More comfortable photographers can utilize the manual features in Master mode, while video enthusiasts can do the same with Movie mode, including support for 4K in Dolby Vision. OnePlus’ HDR algorithms don’t simply stack images together for the right composition, analyzing a scene to get the most detail from shadows and highlights in real time.
Power and battery life with fast charging to go
OnePlus has long been a trendsetter for power and battery life, and the OnePlus 12 delivers plenty of both. With a larger 5400mAh battery inside, the phone is capable of lasting over a full day, even with heavier usage, ensuring you don’t have to feel any range anxiety every time you go out with it in hand.
When it is time to plug in, the super fast 80W SuperVOOC charging adapter and cable can completely recharge the device from zero to 100% in just 30 minutes. From zero to 50%, it only takes 12 minutes. Those times make forgetting to charge less of a problem because you can get enough to last you a full day in the time it takes to get ready to leave.
The OnePlus 12 also brings back wireless charging. It can handle incredibly fast charging speeds thanks to its support for the 50W AirVOOC charging stand, which can fully recharge the phone in just one hour. Place the device on any Qi or Qi2 wireless charger and you can get the maximum wattage the charger offers to fill up faster.
