How to get this deal
2. Prepare at home.
Back up your data and remove any accounts linked to your device. Do not run a factory reset before talking to a Blue Shirt in store.
3. Head to a store.
Bring 2 pieces of photo ID, your device, and any accessories or manuals the device came with to a participating store.² A Blue Shirt will help you at the Customer Service desk.
4. Get your gift card and buy your new device.
We’ll give you up to a $455 Best Buy gift card for the value of your device plus an additional $200 if you trade in a 2020 or newer MacBook in good condition. You can use your gift card towards an eligible MacBook Air from the selection below.
Prepare your device
1. Do not run a factory reset.
We'll need to look up specs and verify that your computer is in working condition. After that, we'll run a factory reset with you in store.
2. Back up your data.
Choose a cloud service like iCloud or Google Drive to store your data, or back-up using an external hard drive.
3. Remove your accounts.
For Apple devices, remove the device from your Apple ID.
4. Bring in your accessories.
If you can, include everything in the original packaging, such as the charger, power cable, keyboard, and mouse.

Terms and conditions
1$744.99 after trade-in price excluding taxes and EHF dependent on device age, condition, applicable accessories, and $200 bonus trade-in amount when you trade-in any 2020 or newer MacBook in good condition. Taxes are calculated on the regular price before trade-in amount is subtracted. The $455 trade-in gift card value is based on a MacBook Air (M1) 8GB RAM & 512GB hard drive model in good condition. Limit 1 per customer per transaction. Bonus MacBook trade-in amount will be added to the Trade-in Gift Card value. Offer valid from March 7 to April 2, 2025, but may begin before and may continue or change after. Excludes Best Buy Marketplace MacBooks and Monthly Subscription programs.
