Mille PRO shallow subwoofers such as the MPS300S4 are designed to deliver great performance even when there is little space for the subwoofer box to be installed. MPS 300 is designed to work in ultra-compact sealed boxes from only 22,7 Lt (0.8 Cf). A subwoofer enclosure under the back bench of a pickup truck is a good example of how space - and height - are constrained. Mille PRO subwoofers feature a depth/performance ratio that has never been achieved before thanks to a 20 percent larger cone excursion capability than a typical design. This remarkable goal was reached because to an inventive suspension group design that included a separate spider and coil support system. This solution allowed the magnetic group to be moved inwards, reducing the depth while increasing cone linear excursion.
