Dyson Vacuums
Treat yourself to a Dyson vacuum
Dyson vacuums are a symbol of prestige, but the features and functions are what really back up the reason people love them beyond the elegant style.
How do Dyson vacuums work?
Dyson vacuums are among the best you can buy, offering powerful suction thanks to Radial Cyclone technology and whole-machine filtration that can capture up to 99.97% of microscopic dust particles as small as 0.3 microns.
They are completely bagless, instead relying on large, hygienic bins that make it easy to eject captured dirt and debris into the garbage. Some models are filter-less while others, like the cordless vacuums, have easily washable filters so there’s nothing to replace through the life of the machine.
They are designed to be easy to manoeuvre around typically tough-to-reach spots and tackle a variety of floor surfaces, including hardwood, tiles, and carpet. Each model comes with a multitude of attachments as well to clean other surfaces like a mattress, upholstery, blinds, stairs, and even the car interior.
What types of Dyson vacuums are available?
Dyson offers three main types of vacuums: cordless and handheld, upright, and canister.
Dyson cordless vacuums neatly dock on a wall charging mount and run up to 60 minutes per charge, depending on the model. The latest models include laser illumination to satisfyingly see what dust and debris is being picked up from hardwood floors, right down to the microscopic particles. Ideal for quick cleanups and navigating hard-to-reach places, detach the top and add an attachment tool to transform them into handheld vacuums.
Upright Dyson vacuums use Dyson Cinetic tips that oscillate at up to 5,000Hz to gather microscopic dust particles and prevent build up and blocked airflow. With special models for those with pets and allergies, a lower centre of gravity for easy steering, and a handy instant release wand for vacuuming up high or under furniture, there are models to suit every family size and need.
For larger homes, Dyson canister vacuums stand out for their Cinetic Big Ball that follows behind as you vacuum and self-rights should it topple over. Using two-tier radial cyclones and high centrifugal force, they tackle any cleaning job with ease. With a self-adjusting head, they transition beautifully from one floor surface type to another.
What are the newest Dyson vacuums?
Dyson has new vacuums in many of its categories. The Dyson V15 was the first model to feature laser illumination technology via the Laser Fluffy Head, and that has since been carried over to newer models like the Dyson Outsize+, the largest in the range, and the Dyson V12 Detect Slim, a compact option for smaller homes and apartments.
New in the cordless category is the Dyson V8, which adds hair detangling technology, a Motor cleaner head, and detangling hair screw tool, making it the perfect option for pet owners.
In the upright vacuum space, the Dyson Ball Animal 3 is the newest option, also redesigned to tackle pet dander and debris with the same detangling Motorbar cleaner and angled bristles that migrate hair along the brush bar. It even comes with an extra pet groom tool and tangle-free turbine tool for ground in hair and dirt.
