Our impact on Canadian communities

Since 2001, we’ve empowered Canadian youth through our partnership with BGC Canada.

Since 2008, we've invested in Canadian to shape the next generation of leaders, innovators and educators.

Through Geek Squad Academy, we partner with Canadian schools and non-profits to bring hands-on tech education to youth.

Our employees volunteer and give back to Canadian charities in their local communities.

Education grants and partnerships

Partnership with BGC Canada.

Best Buy Canada has been a proud supporter of the BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada) since 2001.

Through our partnership we've provided more than $3.7 million in funding for programs such as our Best Buy Grade 10 Scholarships, BGC Canada’s Anti-Racism Initiative Microgrants, and the Youth Innovators Microgrant program.

Building a stronger, more inclusive and diverse tech industry.

At Best Buy, we want to help underrepresented Canadian tech entrepreneurs achieve their goals. That's why we've launched our Mentorship & Accelerator Program to connect innovators with the tools to help grow their business.
