Resuming Large Item Delivery and In-Home Services

Best Buy is taking a phased approach to reopening our stores and offering in-home services. We believe this is the best way to serve Canadians while keeping everyone safe. We are planning to resume the following services:

  • May 12: Geek Squad Protection repairs (major appliances and TVs) and appliance installation services
  • May 12: Delivery of large items (including appliances) into customers’ homes. New orders will begin May 20th.
  • June 1: Geek Squad in-home services

All employees and partners involved in deliveries and in-home visits will use PPE and will follow strict safety protocols including health checks, proper physical distancing and cleaning procedures.

We hope to quickly increase access to stores and continue to carefully monitor changes in government guidelines, public health and customer feedback. All dates are fluid and could change at any time.
