BBQ and Smoker Scheduled Delivery

If you’re purchasing a new BBQ or smoker and need it delivered to your home, you can add scheduled delivery to your order. For more information, please read our guide below.

Delivery cost and scheduling by location

Major urban and greater surrounding areas

Scheduled delivery costs $49.99 per delivery. You'll be able to schedule a preferred delivery date during checkout.


Remote areas

The delivery cost will vary based on your location, and will be calculated based on the shipping address you enter for delivery. Once you've placed your order, one of our delivery partners will call you within 7 days to schedule a delivery date.

  • Air delivery fees: Some remote areas require air delivery. When you make your purchase, we will not yet know if air delivery will be necessary or what the fees will be. The need for air delivery will only be known during the shipment process, at which point you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order. If you don't respond within 48 hours, your order will automatically be cancelled.

Quebec residents

There is no charge for scheduled delivery in both urban and remote areas across the province of Quebec. However, if air delivery is required for a remote delivery, you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order.


P.O. Boxes

Due to carrier restrictions, we cannot deliver large items to P.O. box addresses.


Delivery of bulk orders (7 or more large items)

If your order includes 7 or more large items, the cost of delivery may be adjusted to account for the bulk shipment. The cost of bulk order delivery will only be known during the shipment process. If the cost is different than what you originally paid, you will be contacted and notified, and you'll be given the option to pay the added delivery cost or to cancel your order.


Changing your scheduled delivery date

You can reschedule your delivery date up to 2 days before your original scheduled delivery date.

To do so, contact us with your order number handy. You can find your order number:

  • In the subject line of your order confirmation email.
  • In your My Best Buy account's Order History (if you placed the order from your My Best Buy or Best Buy account).

Please note: We cannot guarantee any rescheduling requests made less than 2 days before your original scheduled delivery date. We will try our best to help you reschedule the delivery, but your request will be subject to our delivery partner’s availability.


How to prepare for your delivery

Before our delivery partner arrives to your residence with your BBQ or smoker, please ensure that:

  • A person who is 18 years or older is available to accept your delivery during your scheduled time window.
  • The delivery path is clear of any obstacles* .

*Remote delivery customers must clear their driveway and walkways of obstacles for delivery to the door. If the delivery truck can’t reach your home because the driveway or walkway is blocked, delivery will be curbside.


When your BBQ or smoker arrives

All BBQ and smoker deliveries will be delivered to your doorstep.

  • If you live in a freestanding home or townhouse, your item will be delivered to your front door, porch, or garage.
  • If you live in an apartment or condominium, your item will be delivered to the front door of your building, not your suite.

Installation and recycling services

Installation services

Installation services are only available for propane and natural gas BBQs, and for customers living in a major urban area.  Installation comes at an additional cost, and is available for:

  • Gas BBQ Assembly and Connect

Remote areas: Please note that installation services are not available in remote areas.


Recycling services

Recycling and haul away services are not available for BBQs and smokers, which means our delivery partners and installation agents will not be able to collect your old BBQs or smokers.
