Large Furniture Scheduled Delivery
We offer different delivery services depending on where you live and the type of domicile you reside in. Read below for full details on cost, scheduling, and preparing for when the delivery arrives.
Delivery service does not include unpacking, setup, or assembly (if applicable) of your new furniture.
Delivery cost and scheduling by location
Major urban and greater surrounding areas
Scheduled delivery costs $49.99 per delivery. You'll be able to schedule a preferred delivery date during checkout.
Remote areas
The delivery cost will vary based on your location, and will be calculated based on the shipping address you enter for delivery. Once you've placed your order, one of our delivery partners will call you within 7 days to schedule a delivery date.
- Air delivery fees: Some remote areas require air delivery. When you make your purchase, we will not yet know if air delivery will be necessary or what the fees will be. The need for air delivery will only be known during the shipment process, at which point you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order. If you don't respond within 48 hours, your order will automatically be cancelled.
Quebec residents
There is no charge for scheduled delivery in both urban and remote areas across the province of Quebec. However, if air delivery is required for a remote delivery, you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order.
P.O. Boxes
Due to carrier restrictions, we cannot deliver large items to P.O. box addresses.
Delivery of bulk orders (7 or more large items)
If your order includes 7 or more large items, the cost of delivery may be adjusted to account for the bulk shipment. The cost of bulk order delivery will only be known during the shipment process. If the cost is different than what you originally paid, you will be contacted and notified, and you'll be given the option to pay the added delivery cost or to cancel your order.
Changing your furniture's scheduled delivery date
You can reschedule your furniture's delivery date up to 2 days before your original scheduled delivery date.
To do so, contact us with your order number handy. You can find your order number:
- In the subject line of your order confirmation email.
- In your My Best Buy account's Order History (if you placed the order from your My Best Buy or Best Buy account).
Please note: We cannot guarantee any rescheduling requests made less than 2 days before your original scheduled delivery date. We will try our best to help you reschedule the delivery, but your request will be subject to our delivery partner’s availability.
How to prepare for your furniture's delivery
Before our delivery partner arrives to your residence with your furniture, please ensure that:
- A person who is 18 years or older is available to accept your delivery during your scheduled time window.
- The delivery path is clear of any obstacles*.
*Remote delivery customers must clear their driveway and walkways of obstacles for delivery to the door. If the delivery truck can’t reach your home because the driveway or walkway is blocked, delivery will be curbside.
When your furniture arrives
If you live in a major urban area, our delivery team will take your new furniture to the room of your choice on the main floor of your home, provided there are no obstacles. If there are obstacles preventing delivery to the room of your choice, we’ll leave the item as close as possible to this room.
If, to reach your home's main floor, you have to ascend or descend a flight of stairs, our team can only deliver your item to where the stairs begin.
If you live in an apartment or condo with an elevator, we’ll take the item up the elevator to your home. If your building doesn’t have an elevator, we’ll drop off the item on the main floor.
If you live in a remote area, please note that furniture can only be delivered to your door.
Please note: We do not provide any unpacking, setup, or assembly (if applicable) of your new furniture.
