Low Price Guarantee

Whether you shop in-store or online, our Low Price Guarantee ensures that you get a great price on all Best Buy products.

Should you find a lower price in-store, in print or online from an authorized Canadian dealer we'll match it. Tell us which competitor is offering the lower price; we will verify the price and that the item is in stock and available for immediate sale and delivery.

For previous purchases, should you find a lower price in-store, in print or online from an authorized Canadian dealer we'll match it Present us with your original receipt within 30 days of purchase. Tell us which competitor is offering the lower price; we will verify the price and that the item is in stock and available for immediate sale and delivery.

If our own price is reduced, present us with your original receipt within 30 days of purchase and we will refund the difference.

If you purchased the item from BestBuy.ca and there is no Best Buy store in your area, just contact us — we’re here to help.

Here are some terms and conditions:

The item must be of the same brand and model and located in Canada. The item must be new and factory sealed and subject to a manufacturer's warranty applicable in Canada. The item must be sold by an authorized dealer located in Canada. Competitors’ prices must be in Canadian dollars and will be adjusted for any fees, taxes or other charges such as environmental handling fees and shipping.

Our Low Price Guarantee does not apply to advertising errors or misprints, Marketplace sales, Miele product, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Boxing Day prices, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, OEM products, limited or minimum quantity or limited time offers, close-outs, liquidations, clearances, financing offers, and purchased made with reward points or a combination of reward points with other payment methods.

Methods of payment

You can pay for your online order from BestBuy.ca with a Best Buy gift card or eGift Card, Best Buy credit card, Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express issued from both Canadian and American financial institutions, or PayPal.


Exchanging or returning products purchased online


Promotional pricing

All of Best Buy’s price changes take effect as of midnight PST on the advertised date. This also applies to special promotional events (such as Online Only Events), unless otherwise indicated. This excludes items sold by Marketplace sellers.


Purchasing by minors

For the protection of our shoppers, it is our policy to not sell to minors. If you are under the legal age of majority and wish to purchase from our online store, please have a parent or legal guardian make the purchase for you.



Advertising rebate policy

Any applicable taxes are calculated and payable on the price before rebate. Applicable postage must be paid on mail-in rebates. Rebates payable in US dollars are subject to currency fluctuations and may be subject to Canadian bank processing fees. Best Buy is not responsible for manufacturer mail-in rebates.



Errors or misprints

We strive to prevent errors. How we fix them depends on the error. If we find that a product description is incorrect, for example, we'll correct it.

In general, you should know that prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where discovered. Best Buy reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including after an order has been submitted, whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged, as permitted by law. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, BestBuy.ca will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will dictate when this amount is credited to your account.

Delivery

For items sold and shipped by Best Buy, delivery is subject to warehouse availability. Out of stock items will be shipped as soon as possible, upon arrival from the manufacturer/publisher. Please take shipping time into consideration. For Marketplace items, Best Buy is not responsible for shipping or delivery. Sellers are expected to ship products within 2 business days of receiving the order and Best Buy will allow sellers up to 7 days to ship an item once an order is placed before it will be cancelled.
