Washer and Dryer Scheduled Delivery
If you’re purchasing a new washer or dryer and need it delivered to your home, you can add scheduled delivery to your order. For more information, please read our guide below.
Measure before you buy: make sure you measure your space and check that the measurements of each appliance will fit properly in your home and any paths of delivery (doorways, staircases, etc.).
Keep in mind that major appliances cannot be returned once they're out of the box.
Delivery cost and scheduling by location
Major urban and greater surrounding areas
Scheduled delivery costs $79.99 per washer or dryer. You'll be able to schedule a preferred delivery date during checkout.
Remote areas
The delivery cost will vary based on your location, and will be calculated based on the shipping address you enter for delivery. Once you've placed your order, one of our delivery partners will call you within 7 days to schedule a delivery date.
- Air delivery fees: Some remote areas require air delivery. When you make your purchase, we will not yet know if air delivery will be necessary or what the fees will be. The need for air delivery will only be known during the shipment process, at which point you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order. If you don't respond within 48 hours, your order will automatically be cancelled.
Quebec residents
There is no charge for scheduled delivery in both urban and remote areas across the province of Quebec. However, if air delivery is required for a remote delivery, you will be contacted and given the option to pay the air delivery fee or cancel your order.
P.O. Boxes
Due to carrier restrictions, we cannot deliver large items to P.O. box addresses.
Changing your washer or dryer's scheduled delivery date
You can reschedule your washer or dryer's delivery date up to 2 days before your original scheduled delivery date.
To do so, contact us with your order number handy. You can find your order number:
- In the subject line of your order confirmation email.
- In your My Best Buy account's Order History (if you placed the order from your My Best Buy or Best Buy account).
How to prepare for your washer or dryer's delivery
Before our delivery partner arrives to your residence with your washer or dryer, please ensure that:
- A person who is 18 years or older is available to accept your delivery during your scheduled time window.
- The delivery path is clear of any obstacles.¹
- Any old appliances are unplugged from the wall and disconnected from any other components.²
¹ Remote delivery customers must clear their driveway and walkways of obstacles for delivery to the door. If the delivery truck can’t reach your home because the driveway or walkway is blocked, delivery will be curbside.
² Please note that our delivery partners will not disconnect your old appliances.
When your washer or dryer arrives
If you live in a major urban area, our delivery partners will:
- Move your old washer and/or dryer to another room in your house or outside for disposal (unless it violates municipal regulations—please check your local regulations)
- Place and level your new washer and/or dryer where requested, and connect the proper metal dryer venting kit and only install dryers on compatible pedestals.
- Connect washers to existing hot and cold waterlines and drain, only if new hoses are used.
- Remove the shipping bolts and give them to you.
If you live in a remote area, please note that appliances can only be delivered to your door.

Recycling services

Remote areas
Please note that installation, recycling, and haul away services are not available in remote areas.
